Some people say that Taha was one of Prophet Muhammad's names.

Surat Taha

Some people tell us that Taha was one of the names of Prophet Muhammed. Others say no it's just 2 letters in the Arabic alphabet.

Surat Taha starts of by saying "We did not reveal the Qura'an to you so you can suffer." We have been given the choice to live easy, but we tend to choose the hard way of life. Aisha (RA), told us that when the Prophet (PBUH) was given a choice between 2 halal things, he always chose the easier one.

The Qura'an is a reminder to those who fear Allah (SWT). Those who stray away from the right path and don't follow the Qura'an, their lives will become hard and they will be sent to The day Of Judgement blind. Allah (SWT) says "You have forgot about my verses and chapters in the Qura'an, so today I have forgotten about you!"

Surat Taha also reflects on part of the life of Prophet Moses and the children of Israel. The Qura'an mentions Prophet Moses and the children of Israel many times because there is so much to learn from them.

When Allah (SWT) asked Prophet Moses to speak to the Pharaoh, Prophet Moses says "I would like a right hand man from my family" and he asked specifically for Heron his brother. This was one of the most blessed moments and Allah (SWT) made Heron a Prophet after that.

In Surat Taha, Allah (SWT) describes Moses' mother when the Pharaoh decided to kill all of the children of Israel. Moses' mother was told by Allah (SWT) "If you fear for your child, throw him into the river!" The Pharaoh's wife found baby Moses and with the help of her Husband, raised Moses until he was a grown man.
